Terms of service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of GivingSync (the “Service”) at givingsync.com. GivingSync is operated by Franco Tralice, a sole proprietor based in Argentina (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the church or organization you represent (“you”).
1. The Service
GivingSync reads donation data from your Planning Center Giving account and creates journal entries in your QuickBooks Online company, based on the mapping and settings you choose. Nothing is posted until you approve a preview.
2. Your accounts and responsibilities
- You must be authorized by your organization to connect its Planning Center and QuickBooks accounts.
- You are responsible for your mapping, settings and for reviewing the entries GivingSync creates.
- GivingSync is a bookkeeping tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. Your books remain your responsibility.
- Keep access to your email secure; sign-in links are sent there.
3. Free trial, subscription and payment
New organizations get one free trial, as described on the pricing page. A trial is per Planning Center organization and per QuickBooks company. After the trial, continued posting requires a paid subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the Billing page and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service unlawfully, try to access data that isn’t yours, interfere with the Service, or connect a QuickBooks company to more than one GivingSync account at a time.
5. Third-party services
The Service depends on Planning Center and QuickBooks Online, which are provided by third parties under their own terms. Changes, outages or limits in those services may affect GivingSync. Planning Center is a trademark of Ministry Centered Technologies and QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.; GivingSync is not affiliated with or endorsed by either.
6. Data
Your data remains yours. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features; for material changes to these terms we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. After cancellation you may ask us to delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute by writing to the other and allowing 30 days for a response. If that fails, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Argentina. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws of the place where you are located. Payment disputes about orders are also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
